DIMO Energy completed the supply, installation, and commissioning of premium TKE Meta 200 elevator systems at the Ministry of Health Head Office on Castle Street, Colombo.

As a specialized division of DIMO, DIMO Energy leveraged its extensive engineering expertise to support efficient and reliable vertical mobility within one of Sri Lanka’s most critical public sector institutions.

Through this project, DIMO Energy further reinforces its capability in delivering trusted elevator solutions that combine safety, performance, and long-term reliability for essential public infrastructure.

DIMO delivered a fully integrated suite of building technology solutions for the Cool Planet flagship store in Colombo 05, supporting operational efficiency, safety, and customer experience within a modern retail environment.

The project included the design, supply, installation, and commissioning of several critical systems, including fire detection and alarm systems, elevators and escalators, access control, public address systems, PABX communication systems, IP-based surveillance, and local area network infrastructure.

Each solution was engineered to meet the demands of a high-traffic retail space, enabling seamless operations, effective communication, enhanced security, real-time monitoring, efficient crowd management, and uninterrupted connectivity across the store.

Through this project, DIMO further reinforces its expertise in delivering end-to-end, technology-driven solutions for modern commercial developments, while ensuring reliability, safety, and an elevated customer experience.

DIMO Energy marked a significant milestone in Sri Lanka’s renewable energy journey with the unveiling of its 5MW Solar Power Plant in Anuradhapura. Secured through competitive bidding and delivered ahead of schedule despite challenging economic conditions, the project achieved a cost saving of over 20% through efficient project management and favourable reductions in global solar panel prices.

Generating 9.48 million kWh annually, the plant has the capacity to power approximately 6,583 households while saving an estimated LKR 280–380 million in thermal power costs each year. It also contributes to reducing 8,532 tonnes of CO₂ emissions annually, equivalent to planting 389,000 trees.

Extending its impact beyond renewable energy, DIMO Energy also handed over a Praja Shala building to the surrounding community, reaffirming its commitment to uplifting lives while supporting Sri Lanka’s transition towards a greener future.

Marking a historic milestone in local sports infrastructure, DIMO installed Sri Lanka’s first-ever LED lighting system in a cricket stadium at the Rangiri Dambulla International Cricket Stadium.

DIMO delivered a comprehensive vertical mobility solution to Velana International Airport in Malé, Maldives, supporting the development of its new international passenger terminal. The scope of the project included the supply, installation, and commissioning of 23 elevators, 14 escalators, and 4 horizontal moving walks, designed to efficiently handle high passenger volumes while meeting stringent international safety and performance standards.

Engineered with advanced technology and tailored to the unique operational and environmental conditions of an island-based airport, these systems ensure seamless, safe, and reliable passenger movement across the terminal. The integration of elevators, escalators, and moving walkways enhances accessibility and optimizes traffic flow within the facility.

This landmark project represents one of the largest mobility solutions deployments in the Maldives and highlights DIMO’s capability in delivering world-class infrastructure solutions for complex, high-demand environments.

DIMO Energy team recently provided DIMO LUMIN LV switchboard solutions to South Asia Gateway Terminals (Pvt) Ltd, Colombo 01—one of Sri Lanka’s leading port operators. This project, secured through Hayleys Aviation (Pvt) Ltd as the main contractor, included the supply of 19 wall-mounted panels.

To meet the demands of a highly corrosive marine environment, each panel was finished with an additional protective coating on top of our standard powder coating—ensuring long-lasting performance and durability.

DIMO, in collaboration with TKE Elevator Solutions, has delivered state-of-the-art vertical mobility solutions at Cargills Mall, Katubedda.

Now in operation, 03 Meta 200 elevators and 03 Velino escalators ensure smooth, efficient movement throughout this dynamic retail space. Engineered with trusted German technology, these systems are built for high foot traffic and designed to complement the mall’s modern architecture—enhancing both functionality and user experience.
