DIMO completed the full delivery of a new international-standard LED floodlighting system at the Singhalese Sports Club (SSC), making it Colombo’s second and Sri Lanka’s fifth venue able to host day - night international cricket, including ICC Men’s T20 World Cup matches. The system meets global cricket and broadcast lighting requirements, improving visibility for play while enabling HD and UHD television coverage.
The project continues DIMO’s long partnership with Sri Lanka Cricket, dating back to the 1980s when it introduced the country’s first stadium floodlights. Executed by DIMO’s Lighting Solutions team, the installation combines international technology with local engineering to meet ICC illumination standards and strengthen Sri Lanka’s sports venue infrastructure.
