DIMO Elevator solutions were provided for five different buildings at the University of Peradeniya , the largest university in Sri Lanka, which was originally established as the University of Ceylon in 1942.
DIMO carried out the scope for supply, Installation, Testing and commissioning of 05 TKE passenger elevator units out of which 04 units are in the Synergy model for the existing buildings in order to allow easy access for differently able students. 01 unit of in Meta 200 model was installed at the newly constructed arts faculty Building. The maintenance scope of all these 05 elevators will also be carried out by DIMO.
DIMO Elevators have marked strong footprints in the university segment by successfully completing the university of Kelaniya, University of Colombo and private university projects previously.

DIMO recently completed a Dual Car Elevator System at Macksons Developers (Pvt) Ltd, Colombo 03.
The elevator travels through 5 floors while serving 4 floors allowing vehicles to travel vertically inside the building. This is a machine-room type car elevator system with Autocall function, which makes the driver's life easier where the driver doesn't have to toggle any switch to open the door of the elevator. This is yet another state-of-the-art car parking system installed by DIMO.
