The groundbreaking ceremony for the 13MW ground-mounted solar project in Rathgama, Galle, was recently held, with the participation of Group CEO Gahanath Pandithage, DIMO Energy Executive Director Wijith Pushpawela, General Manager Shehan Amaratunga, Deputy General Manager Dineshka Rajasingha, and members of the DIMO Energy team. This milestone marks Phase IV of DIMO’s 30MW ground-mounted solar initiative.

Scheduled for completion by September 2025, this project is expected to generate approximately 24 GWh of power annually, significantly contributing to the reduction of CO2 emissions by around 20,000 tons upon completion.

The groundbreaking ceremony for the 5MW ground-mounted solar project in Galle (Puhulhena) was recently held, attended by Wijith Pushpawela, Executive Director, Shehan Amaratunga, General Manager, and Dineshka Rajasingha, Deputy General Manager of DIMO Energy.

This project marks Phase III of DIMO's 25MW ground-mounted solar initiative, with an expected completion date in September 2025.

Upon completion, the project is expected to generate 9 GWh of electricity annually, contributing to a reduction in CO2 emissions by approximately 7,600 tons.

We are delighted to announce the successful installation of a 906.75 kW solar PV system at CBL Global Foods in Alawwa, aimed at reducing electricity costs and supporting environmental sustainability. As a leader in private label manufacturing and exporting of value-added coconut milk and plant-based foods worldwide, CBL Global Foods faced significant electricity expenses due to its monthly consumption of over 320,000 kWh. With the new solar PV system, the company now enjoys over a 30% reduction in electricity bills and has significantly lowered its CO2 emissions. We appreciate the trust CBL Global Foods placed in us to implement these green energy initiatives, which include high-quality solar panels, inverters, frames, and fixtures, along with our dedicated engineering team that meticulously managed every detail of the project.

DIMO Energy, in partnership with Siemens, has introduced state-of-the-art cutting-edge Sivacon S8 technology to Coca-Cola Beverages Sri Lanka Limited for their recent UPS system upgrade. Seeking unparalleled safety, reliability, and operational excellence, Coca-Cola found the Sivacon S8 to exceed beyond their expectations. This design-verified (type-tested) power distribution panel offers exceptional flexibility, compact modularity, high performance, advanced arc fault and surge protection, and a lifetime of maintenance-free operation, all supported by DIMO's engineering expertise.

The Camso Loadstar Warehouse Complex partnered with DIMO to enhance its security measures. DIMO installed an extensive surveillance system with 375 cameras, providing comprehensive coverage and ensuring the safety and security of the entire warehouse facility.

Orion City, a leading business and IT park, partnered with DIMO to enhance its security and communication infrastructure. DIMO implemented an advanced IP Surveillance System, Access Control Systems, a comprehensive Public Address System, an IP PABX System, and a Smart Parking Management System. These upgrades have significantly improved the security, communication, and operational efficiency of Orion City, making it a benchmark for modern business facilities.

TRI-ZEN Apartments, a modern residential development, engaged DIMO to enhance its safety and communication systems. DIMO installed an EN54 certified PA System and Voice Evacuation System, featuring 1300 speakers. This advanced setup ensures effective communication and rapid evacuation in emergencies, significantly boosting the safety and convenience for all residents.

Marina Square – Uptown Colombo, a premier residential and commercial complex, collaborated with DIMO to elevate its safety and technological infrastructure. DIMO successfully installed a state-of-the-art fire detection system, an integrated Building Management System, advanced CCTV, a comprehensive Public Address System, and a robust local area network. These enhancements ensure the highest levels of safety, connectivity, and operational efficiency for Marina Square, setting a new standard for urban living and commercial spaces.

Situated in the vibrant city of Hambantota, Mattala Rajapaksa International Airport serves as a vital gateway connecting Sri Lanka to the world. DIMO has significantly bolstered the airport's safety infrastructure with advanced Fire Detection Systems, including Siemens Fire Finder XLS Fire Alarm Control Panels and repeaters. These systems are designed to provide comprehensive coverage throughout the airport, ensuring swift detection and response to potential fire hazards. Additionally, DIMO's installation includes a robust Fire Protection System featuring Landing Valves, hose reels, fire extinguishers, and an extensive network of sprinkler points strategically placed across the terminal and facilities. These enhancements underscore Mattala Rajapaksa International Airport's commitment to passenger safety and operational reliability, making it a trusted hub for domestic and international travelers alike.
