Blood Donation Camp – Kurunegala

DIMO Kurunegala Team organized a blood donation camp on the 25th of March 2017 at the branch premises.

The campaign was facilitated by the Blood Bank of Teaching Hospital, Kurunegala. DIMO Staff members, neighbours of the vicinity, staff from the leasing companies volunteered for this worthy cause. DIMO Kurunegala Branch’s Sales, Service and Spare Parts teams organized this worthy cause.

This was organized with the intention of fulfilling the scarcity of the blood in the blood bank, as a community service initiative and to build the relationship with the neighbours and the members of the leasing companies.

KAESER CUSTOMER GATHERING

DIMO held a KAESER Customer Gathering on 14th March at DIMO 800. It was a knowledge sharing session and a fellowship programme. The fast moving KAESER Air Compressor models  M57 & M70 were also on display at the event. KAESER is one of the world’s leading manufacturers and providers of compressed air products and services. KAESER Air Compressors feature outstanding reliability, energy efficiency, cost efficiency and ease of maintenance – all of which help KAESER to achieve its top priority: maximum customer satisfaction.

The event was graced by distinguished principals from KAESER: Mr Carl Briden  (Director – KAESER), Mr Marco Angermuller (International Sales & Product Management Specialist- KAESER) and Mr Jaward Kamal (Regional Sales Manager- KAESER). DIMO was represented by Mr Ranjith Pandithage, Mr Gahanath Pandithage, Mr Channa Weerawardane, Mr Suresh Gooneratne, Mr Sarath Algama, Mr. Vijitha Bandara, Mr. Wijith Pushpawela, members of the GMC, Mr Damitha Wickramasinghe, Mr Ruparatne Ranasinghe and Construction Machinery Sales and Service teams. More than 250 participants were present at the event, which included corporate customers of building and road contractors, quarry customers and customers from different government bodies.

Road safety Program

Fulfilling a timely need, a road safety awareness programme in collaboration with Sri Lanka Police was successfully completed today in Rathmalana. “The programme “පරිස්සමට පොරොන්දුවක්” was launched targeting School Van Drivers, Three wheeler Drivers and Traffic Wardens of schools to educate them on road safety and obeying road rules. Active participation of the audience was witnessed during the programme. Many brands marketed under DIMO were also present at the location. This programme was the first of a series of road safety awareness programmes that will be held in different locations throughout the year. Compliance & Stakeholder Interactions Department would like to thank everyone who supported for the success of this programme.
