Komatsu Dozer & Wheel Loader Free Inspection for Tokyo Cement– Trincomalee

Tokyo Cement Lanka PLC owns 5 Dozers and 3 Wheel Loaders (3 D31E & 2 D41A Dozers and 3 WA150-3 & 1 WA180-3 Wheel Loaders). They are involved in 24  x 7, 365 days operations and the machines play a vital role in their operation and are engaged extensively.

Further enhancing our relationships with the Customer, Free Machines inspections were carried out by the Construction and Mining Machinery Customer Support Service Department for the Machines Fleet (Komatsu Dozers and Wheel loads) on the 18th of May 2017 at Trincomalee site. Machine Operators and Mechanics were trained on Preventive Maintenance, Safe Operation of machines, the importance of using Genuine Spare Parts and their proper usage and life cycle.

Mr Tharaka Kularathne (Customer Support Service Advisor) conducted the Inspection and the training while Mr Kanishka Gunasekara (Business Unit Manager – Customer Support Service), Mr S. G. Mawalan (Plaint Manager), Mr Asoka Liyanapathirana (Technical Officer) and Mr C. S. Maniwanan  (Site Supervisor) took part in the event.

DIMO provides lighting solutions for NSBM Green University.

Diesel and Motor Engineering PLC has been the Lighting Solutions provider for NSBM Green University in year 2016.The project proudly featured an educational institute, including lecture hall facilities, laboratories, libraries , Study areas , dormitories and the gymnasium to facilitate  interior lighting Solutions. Specific exterior lighting solutions were installed to enhance the aesthetics  of the picturesque landscape areas including the walking pathways and corridors.

The facilitated LED based lighting solutions of DIMO has met the performance in energy conservation to support the project concept of making the institute green  . The savings have been recorded in an improvement level with better effects between 40% to 50% in specific lighting applications .

DIMO launches its new range of Agri Specialist Tractors: Mahindra YUVO in Sri Lanka

DIMO together with Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.’s Farm Equipment Sector (FES), launched the new range of tractors – Mahindra YUVO in Sri Lanka on 18th May 2017. With this introduction, Mahindra Tractors has raised its bar in farm technology with the new age tractors with superior technology in the range of 30-45 HP segment, that promises to give more coverage, faster operations & better quality of work. YUVO’s advanced technology helps serve the diverse needs of rural and local farmers – from land preparation to harvesting as well as post-harvesting requirements, and helps them do more, faster and better.

The event was graced by Mr Ranjith Pandithage, Mr Gahanath Padithage,  Mr Sanjay Jadhav (Vice President, Head of International Operations – AFS South Asia, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd),  Mr Channa Weerawardena, Mr Sagar Bhadkamkar (General Manager – Country head – Sri Lanka, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd), Mr Saji Varghese (Sri Lanka Country Representative – Mahindra Tractors), Ms. Moupriya Das (Manager Marketing International Operations – Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd), DIMO Directors, GMC members,  Mr Gihan Fernando, Mr Amal Thilakarathne and the DIMO Agri Team. During the event, 10 tractors were handed over to their proud owners in the presence of the dealers.
