DIMO 800 Receives Presidential Recognition

DIMO was recognized with a Merit Award in the Vehicle Servicing Category at the Presidential Environmental Awards, for the environmental efforts demonstrated at DIMO 800, Mercedes-Benz Centre of Excellence. DIMO was the only company from the Automobile sector to receive an award.

Presidential Environmental Awards organized by the Central Environmental Authority acknowledges and appreciates the organizations, institutes and individuals that have made unique contribution to the field of environmental conservation.

Vietnam’s No 01 Tyre Brand Now In Sri Lanka

The  soft launch of DRC Tyres was held on 16th October  2017 at DIMO Head Office  with the participation  of Mr Gahanath Pandithage and Mr Suresh Goonerathne . On this occasion Mr Ajith Anura of  Lakpriya Tyre House – Kadawatha and Mr Asanka Manjula of Manjula Tyre House – Madampe made the initial purchases  to mark  the inauguration.

DRC  is the leading manufacturer of Tyres and tubes  in Vietnams  which   has a capacity of producing more than 600,000  tyres per year. The company  is specialised in manufacturing  truck radial tyres using latest technology and worlds best expertise knowledge.  DRC is a   fully government owned establishment and caters to over 60 percent of the tyre requirement in the country.  Alos DRC  products are  well accepted in  many contries across the globe due to its superior quality and high performance.

Mr Roshan Serasinghe – General Manager Tyre Department, Mr Anas Mohamed  – AGM Commercial Tyre Department, Mr Achira Kekunadola, Mr Yohan Thilakarathne – DGM Corporate Communications, Mr Sanjeewa Dasanayake – Asst Manger Admin Tyre Department , Mr Mahesh Colambage – Assistant Sales Manage Commercial Tyre Department and the DIMO Tyre Staff also participated at the occasion.

National ‘Vap Magula’ Ceremony – 2017

National ‘Vap Magula’ Ceremony was held on 6th October 2017 at Kekirawa, Thibbotuwawa lake. This Event was organized by the Farm Mechanization Research Center (FMRC) and Mahaweli Authority. Hon. President Maithreepala Sirisena was the Chief guest of this historic ceremony. Duminda Dissanayake – Minister of Agriculture and other distinguish guests participated at the event. As a proud stakeholder DIMO Agri Machinery Department represented the event and displayed and demonstrated Mahindra Tractors and CLAAS transplanters. The Event was inaugurated by the President and Minister of Agriculture by planting seedlings in the paddy field operating transplanters. Mr.Amal Thilakarathna, Mr.Danushka De Soyza, Mr.Chandra Bandara and Mr.Wasantha Andries participated at the event representing DIMO Agri Machinery Division.
