Life to Reef

The members of the DIMO Nature Club recently visited Rumassala to acquire snorkeling skills and explore the diverse marine life of the picturesque coastal area, renowned for its scenic beauty and rich biodiversity on land and underwater. It is a popular destination, particularly for snorkelling and diving enthusiasts, as it features a stunning array of marine life and coral reefs.

During the visit, the club members participated in the 'Life to Reef' project by planting corals in collaboration with the Wildlife & Ocean Resource Conservation (WORC) organization, which has been ongoing for five years. This experience not only provided them with knowledge of the marine biodiversity of the area but also instilled in them the importance of conservation for the survival of marine ecosystems and their habitats.
