Stanley and DeWalt, in collaboration with DIMO, recently conducted a series of comprehensive power tools training sessions across several educational institutions: Ediriweera Sarathchandra Vidyaalaya, German Tec (Professional Studies Institute), Gothatuwa Maha Vidyalaya, Rajasinghe Maha Vidyalaya, and Vijayaba Maha Vidyalaya.
These sessions were designed to strengthen students’ technical competencies and industry awareness through structured training, live product demonstrations, and supervised hands-on practice with tools and equipment. Participants gained practical insight into product functionalities, safe handling, and real-world applications - supporting their progression from classroom learning to job-ready exposure.
The programme was further strengthened by the active involvement of DIMO Nature Club members - DIMO employees who volunteered their time and expertise to support facilitation and guide students throughout the learning experience—helping make each session both impactful and memorable for the students involved.
