
As part of the iDrive4Change project, Humanity & Inclusion (HI) organized an exposure visit to Chennai, India, with a strong focus on advancing inclusivity for persons with disabilities. Representatives from DIMO’s HR and Sustainability teams actively participated in this program, underscoring the company’s commitment to creating workplaces where diversity and inclusion thrive.
The visit included learning exchanges with leading organizations such as Michelin India Pvt Ltd, Worth Trust Management Consultants, Lemon Tree Hotels, and the Museum of Possibilities. Through these engagements, participants explored global best practices on recruitment, workplace accessibility, HR systems, and strategies for nurturing an inclusive organizational culture.
The initiative aimed to strengthen the capacity of Sri Lankan private sector companies to integrate inclusive employment practices through cross-sectoral and multinational collaboration. By participating, DIMO reaffirmed its role as a progressive corporate citizen, dedicated to shaping a more inclusive and equitable workforce for the future.
