Job Role:

The jobholder will support the implementation and monitoring of health, safety, and environmental standards across project sites. The role will involve conducting site inspections, identifying and assessing hazards, recommending corrective actions, and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and company requirements. The incumbent will also work closely with project teams and subcontractors to promote safe work practices and support continuous improvement in site safety and environmental performance.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma or relevant qualification in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Health and Safety, Safety Management, or a related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience in construction, electrical, MEP, infrastructure, or similar project environments
• Good knowledge of construction site safety practices and applicable health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards
• Ability to conduct site inspections, identify hazards, and recommend appropriate corrective actions
• Good communication, reporting, coordination, and site supervision skills
• Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with project teams and subcontractors
• Safety certification such as NEBOSH, NIOSH, or an equivalent qualification will be an added advantage
• Willingness to work at project sites and travel as required
