DIMO Agribusinesses, the sole authorized distributor for SWARAJ tractors in Sri Lanka, recently concluded this year’s “SWARAJ Parapura” initiative, further strengthening its commitment to providing reliable after-sales support and an enhanced ownership experience to SWARAJ tractor owners across the country. Conducted under the theme “දොරින් දොරට ගෙවදින සබැදියාව” for the fourth consecutive year, the programme focused on preparing customers and their tractors for the upcoming Maha cultivation season.
This year’s “SWARAJ Parapura” programme was conducted throughout July on an island-wide scale, covering regions across Sri Lanka where SWARAJ customers are based and reaching SWARAJ tractor owners across the country. Through the programme, DIMO Agri machinery service teams visited customers directly at their doorsteps, strengthening relationships with farming communities while making essential after-sales support more accessible.
During the visits, the teams conducted free inspections of SWARAJ tractors, together with minor repairs and servicing where required, helping customers ensure their machinery was in optimal condition ahead of the Maha season. Customers were also provided with practical maintenance guidance and advice aimed at improving tractor performance, durability and reliability while reducing potential downtime during critical farming periods. Complimentary gifts were also presented to customers as a gesture of appreciation for their continued trust in SWARAJ.
The programme also created greater awareness among tractor owners regarding the availability of genuine SWARAJ spare parts, and DIMO Agri Machinery’s improved after-sales services. By taking technical expertise and support directly to farming communities, “SWARAJ Parapura” continues to contribute towards a smoother and more reliable ownership journey for SWARAJ customers.
Commenting on the programme, Rajeev Pandithage, Executive Director of DIMO stated, “SWARAJ Parapura reflects DIMO’s commitment to remaining closely connected with customers throughout their ownership journey. By reaching customers directly at their doorsteps ahead of the Maha season, the programme enables us to provide timely technical support, promote proper maintenance practices and create greater awareness of genuine SWARAJ spare parts. Continuing this initiative for the fourth consecutive year further demonstrates the strong relationships we have built with farming communities across Sri Lanka.”
Through “SWARAJ Parapura” and its continued focus on strengthening after-sales support, DIMO Agribusinesses remains committed to advancing agricultural mechanization in Sri Lanka by delivering reliable products and services that enhance productivity and empower the nation’s farming community.
