Having tied up with German manufacturing giant Fischer Group of Companies, DIMO has been marketing Fischer products in Sri Lanka for over 15 years. Two representatives from Fischer, Andreas Jester – Export Manager and Constantin Wiegert – Product & Marketing Manager for Passive Fire Protection Systems, explained to the audience about the Anchoring and Fire Protection Systems products offered by Fischer. The two German experts elaborated on how these Fischer products can help boost the Construction industry in Sri Lanka.
After the product presentations, the attention shifted to an informative panel discussion that included leading professionals in the Construction industry in Sri Lanka Eng. Wijith Pushpawela – Executive Director of DIMO, Eng. Ananda Senarath – Director of Stems Consultants (Pte) Ltd. and Eng. S.A.Karunaratne – Managing Director of Stems Consultants (Pte) Ltd., together with the two Fischer representatives. The panel discussion was moderated by Eng. Samitha Jayakody Director – Architectural & Buildings of RDC (Pvt) Ltd.

During the discussion, that also included a Q&A session with the audience, the 3 local panelists shared their insights and observations about the construction industry while the 2 German panelists further educated the gathering on how Fischer products can help to re-imagine the Construction industry in Sri Lanka.
