DIMO illuminates renovated British Council building
The British Council of Sri Lanka underwent a Rs. 500 Mn refurbishment before the first Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting 2013 held in Sri Lanka with H.R.H. Prince Charles scheduled to attend the launch of the renovated building along with a distinguished group of invitees. To enhance the aesthetic features of the newly refurbished building as well as the surrounding landscape, DIMO Lighting was contracted to provide a complete solution. Light fittings, lamps and accessories were carefully selected for the general and effect lighting of all the key areas of the premises including the new library, corridors, lobby and garden area. Lamp sources from world-renowned Osram were selected that ensured the highest energy efficiency would be achieved. Furthermore, Rudolf Zimmermann Bamberg (RZB) and Davis branded light fittings along with Vossloh-Schwabe electronic ballasts were used for a complete energy saving lighting solution. On-time delivery was crucial for the project. This was achieved successfully by DIMO with all the confidence of the appointed architect.
