The long-awaited annual Mercedes Benz Golf Tournament, sponsored by Diesel & Motor Engineering Co. Ltd., was held at The Royal Colombo Golf Club on the 26th & 27th May 2006. Held for the 15th consecutive year, the Mercedes Benz Trophy Sri Lanka Country Finals was exciting, and eventful, with some highly competitive golfing, and most importantly, the annual reunion and strengthening of the Mercedes Benz fellowship.
Six individuals emerged as lucky winners and they have the opportunity to participate in the Asian Finals held in Hyatte Regency, Sanctuary Cove, Queensland , Australia in August 2006.
