Mini Tiller Product Introduction Session

A Mini Tiller Product Introduction Session was held at Nuwaraeliya, for the members of the Agriculture Livelihood Development Multipurpose Cooperative Society. This Cooperative Society is the largest cooperative society in Nuwaraeliya District with 1725 members. Mr.Isuru Siriwaradana (Product Manager- Crop Machineries, Agri Machinery Division) conducted a presentation on Tiller Machines and its importance for the small scale agri sector. DIMO Agri Machinery division with the collaboration of the Rural Development Bank introduced a low interest loan scheme for the members of the society to purchase Mini Tiller machines. Mr. Tharindu Siriwardhana (Sales Officer- Agri Machinary Division), Mr. Ranjith De Silva (President-Cooperative Society), Mr. Upali Marasingha (Secretary-Cooperative Society), Mr. D.S.Dissanayaka (Cooperative Commissioner) and Mr. Jayantha Gavarammana (Chairman –TRI) participated at the event.

Special Training for Sri Lanka Navy by DATS

A special two-day training program on vehicle maintenance and modern diesel technology for technicians of the Sri Lanka Navy was conducted by DATS at its Weliweriya premises recently. The program was focused especially on TATA Commercial Vehicles.

DATS provides tailor made technical training courses for internal as well as external clients under its Advanced Technical Training (ATT) arm. The training was conducted by Mr. Nandun Amarasinghe (Senior Instructor), Mr. Ruwan Yapa (Instructor), Mr. Vimukthi Randeny (Assistant Manager) and Mr. Hasanka Senanayake (Instructor).

DIMO sponsors the 45th anniversary celebration of “Mahanuwara Sinhala Welanda Peramuna”

DIMO was the main sponsor of the 45th anniversary celebration of “Mahanuwara Sinhala Welanda Peramuna”. The event was held on the 20th October 2017 at the Grand Kandian Hotel. The chief guest for the event was Hon. Prime Minister Ranil Wickramasinghe. Minister Malik Samarawickrama, Minister Lakshaman Kiriella, Chief Minister Sarath Ekanayake, Central Province Governor Ms Niluka Ekanayake and the president of the Mahanuwara Sinhala Welanda Peramuna Mr M.C.G. Peris were dignitaries who participated at this event.

Mahanuwara Sinhala Welanda Peramuna is one of the biggest and strongest business communities in Sri Lanka and most of the members are customers and partners of DIMO.

The Tata Vehicle Range, all new Mercedes-Benz Vito Kompakt and Tyres represented by DIMO were displayed at the event. A special presentation was conducted by Mr Nalinda Kurukulasooriya about DIMO.

Mr Hemal Rathnayake, Mr Jeevantha Ranatunga, Mr Udesh Kumara and the members of the Kandy Branch participated at this event.
