Strategic Partnership Between DIMO & LIOC to promote Tata Motors Genuine Oil for Tata Vehicles.

DIMO Partnered with Lanka IOC to promote Tata Motors Genuine Engine Oil for Tata Vehicles, at DIMO Head Office on 29th September 2017. Mr Vijitha Bandara and Mr Shyam Bohra (Managing Director – LIOC.) signed the agreement on behalf of the two organizations while Mr Mahesh Karunarathne and Mr B.B. Patra (Senior Vice President Lube M&P – LIOC ) witnessed. Ms Sudakshina Wimalasekara, Mr. Kosala Madawala, Mr. Anushka Gunawardena,  and Mr Arafath Ismail ( Manager Sales – LIOC), Mr Sherman Mirando ( Assistant Manager – Institutional Sales – LIOC), Mr. Manjula Abeywickrama (Assistant Manager – Commercial – LIOC) Mr. Lakmina Thilina ( Executive – LIOC) from LIOC were present at this event.

System Formwork – DIMO partnering with PERI – Contractor – ICC

BOSCH (I & I Team) of Power Tools Department joined hands with PERI for a successful construction of “ITC Colombo One Project” at Galle Face Green. PERI, the largest manufacturers of formwork and scaffolding systems worldwide, had taken initiatives in providing the best formwork solutions to Sri Lankan construction industry. PERI supplies to major projects in Sri Lanka such as Altair (with inclined wall), Ministry of Labour Department (MOL) and the Defence Headquarters Complex (DHQC).

DIMO and PERI have provided an efficient and a safer formwork solution to ICC (International Construction Consortium (Pvt) Ltd) who is the contractor of the Residential Tower (50 Floors) of ITC project Colombo. In this project DIMO is dedicated to provide systems for the columns, walls (Shear, Wing and Core walls) with a Rail Climbing System up to the 50th floor. DIMO Beats Hayleys by 6 Wickets

The DIMO-Hayleys Chairmen’s Challenge Shield, was held on 24th September (Sunday) at MCA Grounds. DIMO won the match beating Hayleys for the second time at this 2nd Annual Big Match.

DIMO managed to restrict Hayleys to 177 in 42 overs with outstanding bowling performance.Nisala Tharaka grabbed 3 wickets for 33 runs while Kavishka Anjula bagged 2 wickets for 42 runs.Matheesha Perera picked 1 wicket for 14 runs, and Pramud Hettiwatta picked 1 wicket for 01 run.

Batting second, DIMO scored 181 for the loss of 4 wickets, in 42 overs.Sammu Ashan scored an unbeaten 71 while Lasith Aberathna contributed with 33 runs.Thikshila De Silva scored 31 runs, and Ramesh Mendis scored 20 not out.
