Road safety Program

Fulfilling a timely need, a road safety awareness programme in collaboration with Sri Lanka Police was successfully completed today in Rathmalana. “The programme “පරිස්සමට පොරොන්දුවක්” was launched targeting School Van Drivers, Three wheeler Drivers and Traffic Wardens of schools to educate them on road safety and obeying road rules. Active participation of the audience was witnessed during the programme. Many brands marketed under DIMO were also present at the location. This programme was the first of a series of road safety awareness programmes that will be held in different locations throughout the year. Compliance & Stakeholder Interactions Department would like to thank everyone who supported for the success of this programme.

Kent Propaganda Truck Campaign

DIMO Consumer Department launched a Propaganda Lorry to promote and sell their Kent Purifier products. This truck will travel around the country with a Propagandist to carry out the promotional activities town wise in order to create awareness about the Kent Purifiers. The truck will have a fixed Kent Purifier unit to which the public can reach and drink water free of charge. Also there will be free water tests conducted in order to assess and recommend the type of water purifier based on the water quality of the particular area.  It will also have a projector which will project Kent promotional videos to make the public aware of the products.
