Samurdhi Vehicle Handing Over Ceremony….

Eight DIMO Batta vehicles and one TATA SuperACE vehicle were distributed among Samurdhi entrepreneurs in Nuwara-Eliya District under the patronage of The Ministry of Housing and Samurdhi, Department of Divinaguma Development and Divinaguma Community Bank – Bangalahatha. These entrepreneurs will use these vehicles to develop their vegetable vending, milk collection and distribution, clothing and fruit vending businesses. Thirty students from Samurdhi beneficiary families were given stationary items parallel to the occasion.

Minister of Plantation Industries Hon Navin Dissanayake, Mr Sujeewa Boodhimanna (Divisional Secretariat – Nuwara-Eliya), Ms S. Herath (Director Divinaguma District Office) and officers of the Divinaguma Community Bank graced the occasion. Mr Nalinda Kurukulasooriya, Mr Anura Wijesinghe, Mr Sampath Kumarasinghe, Mr Uditha Yapabandara, Mr Jeevantha Ranatunga, Mr Deeptha Kumara, Mr Bandula Pushpakumara and DIMO Kandy branch members hosted the event.

New DIMO Welimada Customer Contact Point Commenced Operations

New DIMO Welimada Customer Contact Point was ceremonial opened today by Mr Gahanath Pandithage.

Mr Vijitha Bandara, Mrs N. M. Gnanawathi (Divisional Secretariat – Welimada), Mr Nalinda Kurukulasooriya, Mr Anura Wijesinghe, Mr Sampath Kumarasinghe, Mr Uditha Yapabandara, Mr N. Priyantha (Officer in charge – Welimada Police Station), Mr Nimal Weerakoon (Director in charge – Thuruliya Saviya), Mr Abhijeet Sharma (TATA Motors Limited), Mr Anubhav Bali (TATA Motors Limited), Mr Suresh Kumar (TATA Motors Limited), officers from leasing companies and banks in the area, TATA customers in the area, Product Managers and Kandy Branch Team participated at this event.

The new location is located at Bandarawela Road, Welimada. Religious ceremony and new TATA vehicles were handed over to their proud owners at the opening.
