Channel Partner & Customer Foreign Tours Of Commercial Tyre Department

Commercial Tyre department achieved a business growth of 40% during the financial year 2014 / 15 with the restructure of the dealer network and assigning individual targets to dealers as well as to end Customers Island wide. On achieving these set targets DIMO offered a Europe tour to top ten dealers, Singapore Cruise tour to best 10 -50 dealers and a Dubai Dessert safari to best 20  customers.

These tours were conducted end of October as an appreciation of channel partner’s & customer’s efforts on achieving sales targets.

All the tours were appreciated by the participants and the initiative will be a key factor to build the relationship with respective channel partners and customers for future business growth.

KOMATSU Under Carriage Inspection & Promotion Drive

A week long KOMATSU under carriage inspection and promotion drive was conducted by the Engineers of Product Support Unit attached to the Construction Machinery Division during the month of November 2015. The team was led by the Mr. Pubudu Senevirathna – Business Unit Manager, along with six Product Support Service Engineers. Main area of focus of the campaign was in the Southern province, where around 50 machines working at various locations and quarry sites from Kalutara to Sooriyawewa- Hambantota were inspected.

Wear measurement on all the inspected machine/s under carriages total remaining life time will be calculated and remaining life time of each under carriage will be made available to the owners of the machine, when the 2nd phase of the campaign will be carried out on the  12th & 13th December 2015 in Matara.
