“TEAM JEEP” SHINES AT THE “JEEP WRANGLER SOUTHERN NIGHT RALLY 2014”

The “Jeep Wrangler Southern Night Rally 2014” tagged as ‘the journey through the wilderness of the south’ was successfully completed during the weekend in Matara with Team Jeep sweeping away with the most number of awards and further proving the capability and reliability that Jeep has to offer. This year was the 16th (TSD) National Rally organised by the Southern Motor Sports Club (SMSC) with a distance of 500 km across the district of Matara, Hambantota and Monaragala . The rally was held in two stages, with the first stage starting from Matara and ending at Morawaka, while stage two started at Morawaka and ended in Matara. Below are the awards “Team Jeep” clinched at the rally.

Throughout the entire distance of the rally, our Service crew provided backup for the two teams: namely “Team Jeep Wrangler” and “Team Jeep Cherokee” that consisted of 6 Jeeps. The awards ceremony was graced by Mr. Gahanath Pandithage and members of the Southern Motor Sports Club.

The New DIMO Mathugama Customer Contact Point was Ceremonially Opened

A new DIMO Customer Contact Point was opened today at Mathugama by Mr Ranjith Pandithage. The new Customer Contact Point is located at No. 353, Kalutara Road, Walimanana Junction, Mathugama.

Mr Gahanath Pandithage, Mr Vijitha Bandara, Mr Jagatha Withanage (Provincial Council Member), Mr Rajiv Jaiswal (TATA Motors Limited-India), Mr Mahesh Karunaratne, Mr Navin Seneviratne, Mr Rakhita Gunasekera, Mr Nalinda Kurukulasooriya, Mr Sampath Kumarasinghe,  Mr Viraj Gunaratne, Mr Prasanna Mapatunagamage, Mr Udayanga Hewapathirana, Mr Surendra Jayasinghe, Mr Kamal Premasundara, Mr Jeewantha Wijesinghe, Mr Jeevantha Ranatunga, Mr Krishnajith Wajirajeewa, Mr Shanaka Gamage, Mr Jeyarajah Dayabaran and the Matara Branch staff were present at this event.

DIMO is the Official Transport Asset Provider at the CILT International Conference 2014

DIMO was the Official Transport Asset Provider at the CILT International Conference 2014 which was organized by the Chartered Institute of Logistics & Transport in Sri Lanka. “Redefining Cornerstones of Logistics and Transport” was the theme of the 2014 international conference and the keynote address on “Strategic Town Developments to Facilitate Efficiency in Logistics and Transport” was delivered by Defence and Urban Development Secretary Gotabaya Rajapaksa. The event was held at The Kingsbury on 4th November 2014 where DIMO promoted the New TATA Ultra and the TATA PRIMA Prime Mover.
