DIMO Introduces KAESER

The Launch of Kaeser Compressors recently took place at Taj Samudra. DIMO has been appointed as the Authorized Distributor for Kaeser Engine Driven Portable Compressors in Sri Lanka. Mr Ranjith Pandithage, Mr Gahanath Pandithage, Mr Channa Weerawardena, Mr Sarath Algama, Mr Chaminda Ranawana, Mr Nishantha Fernando and the Construction Machinery Division Team represented DIMO, while Mr Carl Briden, Mr Jawad Kamal and Mr Ralf Pischel represented Kaeser.

Mr Chandima Samarasinghe compered the event, while Mr Ranjith Pandithage and Mr Carl Briden spoke at the event. Mr Jawad Kamal did a live demonstration of the Kaeser Compressor. A Kaeser Compressor was handed over to Mr Chamika Jayawardana by Mr Ranjith Pandithage.

KAESER KOMPRESSOREN Group is today one of the world’s leading manufacturers of compressors and compressed air products, employing about 4,400 people. The company has a proficient sales and service organization, with representatives in over hundred countries on all the world’s continents. KAESER’s headquarters is in Coburg, Germany, which is in northern Bavaria. KAESER products are used by companies in all manufacturing sectors, regardless of the size of the operation. The company was founded by Carl Kaeser Senior as a machine shop on June 27, 1919. Initially it made spare parts for motorized vehicles and engines, especially gear wheels, and later built specialty machines for the glass industry.

DIMO supports Meth Seva Foundation, Handapanagala yet again.

A BIG THANK YOU to the DIMO Tribe for supporting with donations towards the mentally and physically handicapped children at Meth Seva Foundation, Handapanagala.

We were able to handover food items, a large quantity of soap (kids and adults), washing powder, tooth paste, tooth brushes and detergent. In addition we also handed over more than 60 pieces of new and used clothes to the children.

All the above were collected through the kind support of DIMO Tribe, by way of money, dry rations, clothes and other items. The donations were handed over to the Meth Seva Foundation on 16th March 2014 by the Corporate Communications Team of DIMO. The Director of the foundation thanked DIMO immensely for the kind support extended, which started with the construction of a play area for the kids.

DATS Completes a CSR Project for Kalotuwawa Primary School, Kandy

A school development project was completed by DATS for Kalotuwawa Primary School –  Dedunupitiya, Kandy recently.

The development project included the following: The school’s main hall was wire meshed, the water supply system and electrical wiring system were repaired, buildings and furniture of the school were colour-washed, sanitary facilities were cleaned and repaired. Apart from these, gifts were donated to the students of the school while books were donated to the School Library.

The completed project was handed over to them on the 6th of March 2014.

Mr Donald de Silva, Mr Parakrama Abeykoon, Staff and Trainees of DATS represented DIMO while staff of Kalotuwawa Primary School and parents of the students too participated at the event.
