You could write volumes about the E-Class.
Or open up a whole new chapter
Born in 1947. That's what it says in the E-Class annals. Its various predecessors included marvels of diesel technology, the elegant 1950s "Ponton", the 1960s "Tail Fin", the "Stroke 8" from the 1970s and, of course, the E-Class with the typical twin-headlamp face, to name but a few. The new E-Class has exactly what it takes to inspire just as much enthusiasm. Because, like the other models, this saloon also embodies the sum total of our passion for the car. That goes for the dynamic design, the enhanced comfort and the innovative technology equal measure.
The AIRMATIC Dual Control semi-active air suspension system, for example, was developed exclusively for the E-Class and is part of the standard equipment on the E 500. In addition to this top-of-the-line model you will find a variety of engines to choose from. Plus there's the option of a dynamic multicontour seat. And all models come fitted with cutting-edge safety technology. In particular the Sensotronic Brake Control system (SBCTM). With all of this on board, you could get the impression there would be little room left for you. But that's far from the case: the E-Class is, after all, known for its spaciousness.
