Take, for example, our passion for building breathtaking cars - like the new generation of the C-Class. As well as typical Mercedes standards of comfort and safety, the Saloon offers a refined design and excellent dynamic handling. The new DIRECT CONTROL suspension combines outstanding comfort with a hitherto unknown agility. And the precision-turned suspension harmonises perfectly with the new DIRECT CONTROL 6-speed manual transmission, resulting in shorter shift travel for an even more enjoyable drive - which is also the motto behind the extensive range of engines, featuring 13 CDI diesel and petrol models.

One glance is enough to tell you that this is an even sportier C-Class: the clear-lens headlamps, the new front apron with large air inlets and the powerful-looking, three-louvred radiator grille set the dynamic tone. The bumpers feature integral for lamps which, in combination with the optional bi-xenon headlamps, also have a cornering light function. Side skirts merge with the sporty bumpers at the rear. And the new tail lights, with their dark red high-gloss design, form a particularly eye catching feature.
